How do ceramic decal printers work?

Ceramic decal printing is a very simple process you can do yourself at home. The process is essentially the same as printing any digital picture on a LASER printer. Here is a step-by-step breakdown of how to print an image on a ceramic decal printer.

1. The process begins with an image. Choose an image you want to print. Open it up on your computer.

2. Open the photo on Adobe Photoshop and edit it for printing.

3. Print the image with your ceramic decal printer. This is a very quick process and is as easy as printing a photo on a standard printer.

4. Apply a ceramic cover coat using a standard laminator. A laminator is included in the ceramic printing system from Enduring Images.

5. Trim the finished decal.

6. Dip the decal in water.

7. Wait for a few seconds, maybe 30 or so.

8. Apply the decal in the same way you apply any decal.

9. Heat in a kiln overnight. This is the step that makes the decoration permanent.

10. The product is finished!

Like applying a decal to the models you made as a kid. Simple! And the products are durable, personal and beautiful.
